Weather and School Closing Information
If schools are closed or delayed because of bad weather, the decision will be made as early as possible in the morning, normally by 6:30. The following radio and TV stations will be officially notified:

If no announcement is made, schools will be open that day. If schools are closed and bad weather continues, we will try to make the decision for the next day by 6:00 pm for the evening news. A two-hour delay in the morning may in some circumstances be announced. This would enable us to assess road continues in the daylight.
In all bad weather bus drivers should be on standby in case school needs to be dismissed early. PARENTS- Please notify your school in writing of any special arrangements on early dismissal days.
Please do not call the Director, the Principal, Teachers, or other staff. Also, please do not add to communication problems by calling the Sheriff's office, radio station, or other country government officials. Listen to the radio or TV announcements. As soon as a decision is made, it will be made public.
